Dr. Travis Gee completed his PhD at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada, in 1998. By that time he had taught psychology and research methods courses at both Carleton, in the Dept. of Psychology, and the neighbouring University of Ottawa in the Dept. of Nursing. He worked at the Community Health Research Unit whilst completing his PhD, then came to Australia in 1999 to teach in the School of Psychology at the University of New England, in Armidale, NSW.
Dr. Gee then moved on to do research part-time in the medical school at the University of Queensland, and to pursue private practice as a psychologist in Brisbane. He is currently a lecturer in the Dept. of Psychology at the University of Southern Queensland, teaching Clinical, Health and Counselling Psychology. |
