About this course

Mindfulness is the development of a non-judgmental accepting awareness of present moment experience. By intentionally attending to one's ongoing stream of thoughts, sensations and emotions, allows one to pause, react with greater flexibility to events and experiences. The presentation includes recent findings of mindfulness research in adolescents and concludes with a short Q&A session with Dr. Tan.
