In this course, clinical psychologist Dr. Ellen Inverso (Psy.D., co-developer of CT-R), introduces the application of recovery-oriented cognitive therapy (CT-R) to some of the most complex and misunderstood presentations in mental health. Drawing on practical strategies and real-world clinical scenarios, Dr. Inverso explores how to effectively support individuals experiencing negative symptoms, hallucinations, delusions, aggression, and self-injury.<br><br> Participants will learn how to use tools like the Recovery Map, guided discovery, positive action scheduling, and the STEER model to energise the adaptive mode and promote recovery in highly disconnected states. This session offers valuable, hope-based interventions for even the most challenging therapeutic contexts.<br><br> This course is the second of a two-part series.
