About this course
The rapid integration of digital technologies into mental health care is reshaping how services are delivered. In this course, we examine the context of ethics in telehealth and what informed consent looks like. We explore the twin questions of competence and technological literacy; look into confidentiality, security and data protection; and treat the question of jurisdictional issues, plus the concomitant challenge of managing crises remotely. We see how equity of access continues to be a challenge in digital contexts. A case vignette helps you apply newfound insights, and we finish with practical checklists.<br><br>
