About this course

In this course, psychotherapist Ana Lund, in collaboration with neuroscientist Dr. Pascal Vrticka, introduces an updated framework for understanding and applying attachment theory in adult psychotherapy. The session revisits core tenets of attachment theory, examines major distinctions between child and adult attachment styles, and clarifies common myths. Clinicians will explore practical tools for assessing adult attachment, including dimensional and categorical models, and learn how attachment is shaped by both relational experiences and neurobiological processes such as epigenetics. With an emphasis on clinical application, this course empowers professionals to support clients through more precise conceptualisation and informed therapeutic strategies.<br/> This course is the first of a five-part series on this topic.
