In the first half of the video, Dr Kanel explains the skills associated with the three parts of the intervention model: A) Development of rapport; B) Identifying the problem; C) Coping. In the second half of the video, Dr Kanel demonstrates the use of the model with a client who has experienced multiple losses. The last six minutes involve a discussion of the session from the perspective of a professional observer (a licenced family therapist), who gives feedback.
