Theoretical Case Conceptualisation and Treatment Planning

In this course, Dr Patricia Robey, Ph.D., associate professor in the counselling program at Governors State University, first asks what case conceptualisation is. Asserting that all behaviour is purposeful, Dr Robey takes viewers through the process of case conceptualisation and theoretical hypothesis with an examination of a case study. Reality therapy interventions are discussed, as is the reality therapy process. A sample treatment plan is offered, and there is brief discussion of the strengths and limitations of the DSM.
