<p>Dr. Anita Pryor is the Director of Adventure Works Australia and program manager of Out Bush On Country, and was instrumental in the development of Bush Adventure Therapy in Australia, the International Adventure Therapy network, and Outdoor Health Australia.</p>

<p>Anita is director of Adventure Works Australia, a not-for-profit charitable organisation providing bush adventure therapy and outdoor counselling for people from all walks of life, and is the program manager of Out Bush On Country, a program for young people living with complex issues, including trauma histories. She is the Tasmanian representative of the Australian Association of Family Therapy, and Leader of Outdoor Health Australia&rsquo;s policy &amp; advocacy team.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Anita has been instrumental in the development of Bush Adventure Therapy in Australia, the International Adventure Therapy network across 40 nations, and more recently, Outdoor Health Australia.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Trained in outdoor education, solution-focused and narrative therapies, family therapy, mental health, drug treatment, health promotion, public health, research and evaluation, Anita draws from a range of cross-disciplinary ideas. In her professional roles of practitioner, researcher, trainer, policy officer and director, she draws on Aboriginal mentors and cross-cultural experiences. Anita&rsquo;s passions are fired by her deep personal experiences of the benefits of outdoor health, for people and the planet.</p>
