<p>Dr. Brittany Glover is a social justice-forward school counsellor educator. She is a licensed clinical mental health counsellor associate (NC), a national certified counsellor, and a national board-certified teacher in the area of school counselling.</p> <p> </p> <p>Prior to joining academia, Dr. Glover worked as a school counsellor for 7 years in North Carolina. During her time as a school counsellor, Dr. Glover travelled to both Belize and Ecuador and assisted in providing both academic and sustainable interventions to increase student growth and development.</p> <p> </p> <p>Her areas of interests include - but are not limited to - training school counsellors to support Black and Brown children, creating educational workbooks for school counsellors working with small psycho-education groups, supervision training for school counsellors, and training school counsellors and special educators to work collaboratively to support students with emotional and behavioural disabilities.</p> <p> </p> <p>She is presently researching the impact of training school counselling students in classroom management and behaviour support from a culturally-aware approach. Brittany is currently a Chi Sigma Iota International Honor Society Fellow and is a 2021 National Board Certified Counselor Minority Fellow. Dr. Glover enjoys hiking, traveling, and cooking.</p>
