<p>Dr. Danielle Duarte is passionate about supporting students’ academic success, college and career readiness, and social-emotional development while using data to show the impact of school counselling. She is a recent Education Leadership doctoral graduate (Ed.L.D) from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and the co-author of two books - <em>Hatching Results for Elementary School Counselling</em> and <em>Hatching Results for Secondary School Counselling.</em> A former school counsellor, Danielle has experience at all levels and at her most recent school, the counselling programme was nationally honoured as a Recognised ASCA Model Programme (RAMP). Danielle also successfully wrote the Elementary and Secondary School Counselling Programme Grant for her former district, which was awarded $1.1 million. As the grant project director, Danielle helped the district hire, train, and support the new school counsellors to implement comprehensive school counselling programmes.</p> <br><p>Danielle is currently the Chief Operations Officer for Hatching Results, an educational organisation that supports the development of data-driven school counselling programmes that positively impact student outcomes. In addition, Danielle served on the Board of Directors for the California Association of School Counsellors for eight years, including as President. During this time, she was involved in Michelle Obama’s Reach Higher Initiative, attending all national convenings and participating on California's Reach Higher Team. Danielle has also been a school counselling adjunct faculty member, an AVID Staff Developer for the school counselling strand, and a certified Harvard Data Wise Coach. She was featured in San Diego Magazine’s <em>17 Big Ideas for 2017: Let’s Implement More School Counselling Programmes</em>.</p>
