<p>Dr Chang is a Suicide Prevention Australia post-doctoral fellow, and a research fellow at the Centre of Best Practice in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Suicide Prevention, with a focus on evaluating the impact of programs delivered within the justice systems in the Kimberley region and Darwin.</p>

Expert Bio

<p>Dr Chang is a Suicide Prevention Australia post-doctoral fellow, and a research fellow at the Centre of Best Practice in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Suicide Prevention. Her research is focused on addressing the over-representation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in the justice system, by enhancing social and emotional wellbeing. Her current focus is on evaluating the impact of programs delivered within the justice systems in the Kimberley region and Darwin, which has the highest Indigenous suicide rates, Indigenous imprisonment and recidivism in Australia. <br /><br /> </p> <p>Prior to pursuing her studies in psychology, Dr Chang spent almost two decades in the finance industry in Singapore and Hong Kong, after obtaining her Bachelor of Accountancy at the National University of Singapore.</p>
