John Nwosu

<p>John Nwosu is a human developer who inspires, relates, and leverages the power of school counselling to help students and communities. He grew up in Austell, GA, a suburb of Atlanta. He is a product of a Nigerian and African-American family with lots of love, support, and high expectations. After years of chronic underachievement caused by stress, anxiety, and depression, he graduated from Georgia Southern University with debt and a degree in Chemistry.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>John is currently the 2024 Georgia School Counselor of the Year. He is a middle school counsellor in one of the largest school districts in the nation where he shows scholars how to show up, grow up, glow up, and sow up better. Additionally, John is a licensed mental health counsellor, national speaker and trainer, and the founder of the counselling and leadership consulting company, Think D.I.F., LLC. He currently lives in metro Atlanta with his beautiful and amazing wife, Chanelle, and their children, John and Amara.</p>
