Dr. Kashon W. Corley is CEO of Ubiquitous Counseling Services and a professor of counselling education at the University of the Cumberlands. A licensed counsellor, supervisor, and trauma-informed care specialist, she provides compassionate mental health services across diverse populations, while also training future clinicians in evidence-based practice.

<p>Dr. Kashon W. Corley is a 2022 NBCCF Minority Doctoral Fellow who is a designated Licensed Professional Counselor, Supervisor in the state of Louisiana and a National Certified Counselor. Dr. Corley received her Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Louisiana State University (Baton Rouge, LA) a Masters degree in mental health counselling from Southern University (Baton Rouge, LA), and her Ph.D. in counselling education and supervision from the University of the Cumberlands (Williamsburg, KY). Dr. Corley has served her community, providing trauma-informed care counselling in several specialty areas — military, veterans, community-based care, substance use disorders, guidance counselling, case management, crisis management, bereavement, pet loss, and private practice. </p><br/> <p>Currently, Dr. Corley serves in the capacity of a Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor in her private practice, Ubiquitous Counseling Services, LLC and as an Adjunct Professor at the University of the Cumberlands (Williamsburg, KY). Dr. Corley is also a published author of the children’s book, <em>Tuesday’s Rainbow</em>, an EMDR-certified therapist, Prolonged Exposure, and RISE (Recovering from IPV through Strengths and Empowerment) trained clinician. Dr. Corley is a native of Louisiana who resides in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area.</p>
