Expert Bio
Richard Hill is acknowledged internationally as an expert in human dynamics, communications, the brain and the mind. He is an international lecturer and keynote speaker on the topics of neuroscience, psychosocial genomics; has developed special training courses for suicide prevention; and is the originator of the Curiosity Oriented Approach. In addition to lectures to the psychological profession in Australia and the world, Richard has a strong engagement with the coaching and business community. He is Past-President of the Global Association of Interpersonal Neurobiology Studies (GAINS), a select member of the International Psychosocial Genomics Research Group, and Patron of the Australian Society of Clinical Hypnotherapy (ASCH). He is on the Managing Editor of The Science of Psychotherapy online magazine and Chief Educational Director of The Science of Psychotherapy Academy. He holds Masters degrees in Arts, Education and Mind and Brain Sciences. He has three books, _Choose Hope_ and _How the ‘Real World’ Is Driving Us Crazy!_ and has co-authored _The Practitioner’s Guide to Mirroring Hands_ with Ernest Rossi. He has numerous articles, journal papers and book chapters, including in _Perspectives on Coping and Resilience_ and _Strengths Based Social Work Practice in Mental Health_, published worldwide. He completed reviewing the 16 volumes of The Collected Works of Milton H Erickson for the Milton H Erickson Foundation – at 3 volumes per year.
