With a nursing background and a Master’s degree in the field, she has worked as a CAMHS Clinical Nurse Consultant across community, NGO, and inpatient settings, with a primary focus on suicide assessment, management, and prevention.</p> <br/> <p>She is deeply committed to suicide prevention and the value of lived experience. As Senior Suicide Prevention Coordinator with Gold Coast CYMHS (QLD), Sarah held a dual role that combined direct clinical care for suicidal children, young people, and their families with the implementation of suicide prevention strategies across the health service.</p> <br/> <p>Now working interstate, Sarah supports organisations to drive systemic change, strengthen suicide prevention responses, and promote high standards of care for children, young people, and their families presenting with suicidality—while also providing support to the staff working alongside them.</p>
