Shyam Suchak

<p>Born and raised in Tanzania, and having lived on three continents, Shyam has called Toledo, OH, home since 2001. He has dedicated his career to community development, supporting people in realising and attaining their full potential.</p><br> <p>A certified human resource professional, Shyam serves as the Chief Operations Officer at Anne Grady Services, a non-profit organisation that supports people with disabilities, providing strategic leadership to the human resources, training, community relations, and development departments. He is a proud 2022 Master&rsquo;s Fellow of the National Board of Clinical Counselor Foundation and a Licensed Professional Counselor at the Willow Center in Toledo, OH.</p><br> <p>Shyam is a graduate of Leadership Toledo&rsquo;s Signature Program and a John Maxwell certified coach, teacher, trainer, and speaker. He is also the Founder and CEO of Prime Consultancy LLC, which empowers individuals and organisations through impactful speaking, coaching, and consulting, integrating psychotherapy and leadership science to support emotional growth, effective communication, and healthier workplaces.</p><br> <p>He serves as the Second Vice Chair of the City of Toledo&rsquo;s Human Relations Commission and as the Executive Liaison for its Youth Empowerment and Engagement Committee. He has previously served on the Springfield Local Schools&rsquo; and Holland Springfield Chamber&rsquo;s Business Advisory Council, as well as a mentor with the Northwest Ohio Business Mentoring Program. Shyam has also served as the Chair of Women of Toledo&rsquo;s HeForShe Campaign, a United Nations initiative for gender equality, and as a board member of the Children&rsquo;s Theatre Workshop.</p><br> <p>Shyam graduated with a BA in Communications from the University of Toledo, a Master of Organizational Leadership from Lourdes University, and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Spring Arbor University. He loves to travel, read books on professional and personal development, watch thrillers and stand-up comedy, listen to music, and spend time with friends and his partner and their three beloved dogs, Rami, Maya, and Shay.</p>
