Expert Bio

Dr Trudi Flynn is an art therapist, psychotherapist and Lecturer in Counselling (Masters Program) at the University of the Sunshine Coast (USC). She is co-initiator of the USC Creative Arts Research Forum with Discipline lead Dr Mark Pearson, and also facilitates the student art therapy group at the University. Following foundation studies in Psychology, Trudi completed her Ph.D. in Psychology, her Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship in Mental Health, and then further studies in Transpersonal Art Therapy. She is a strong advocate for therapeutic creative arts and brings over 15 years of applied practice to her teaching and research supervision.
