Providing Mental Health Services Within Primary Care and Court Settings

In this course, Dr. Constance West systematically explains the perks, pitfalls, and perils of being a mental health professional in a primary care or court setting, with particular respect to three domains of the work: access to records within and across agencies, interactions and relationships with primary care and court staff, and referrals. Despite her experience in the U.S. system, her presentation holds many insights for Australian practitioners, with many parallels in the two situations.
